Dr. Vanessa Stevens is a research assistant professor of epidemiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Her work primarily focuses on mitigating the spread and impact of antimicrobial-resistant infections through the application of epidemiological, economic, and health services research methods.
Dr. Stevens is also a health services researcher at the IDEAS Center of Innovation at VA Salt Lake City Health Care System, where she directs the methodological core and the Antimicrobial Stewardship, Infectious Diseases, and Infection Control (ASIDIC) data sciences group.
